Wish James Wood is a fan run campaign to help supporters vote James Wood into the MLB All-Star Game. We try to collect as little as possible and to be plain about it.
What we collect
When you join, we store the details the official MLB ballot asks for: your first and last name, email, and optionally ZIP or postal code, country, date of birth, and favorite team. We also keep a log of agent runs (whether a ballot was staged) to show campaign totals. That log does not include your ballot screenshots; those stay on your own computer.
Why we collect it
Only to help you cast your own vote and to show aggregate campaign progress. That is the entire purpose.
What we do not do
We do not sell, rent, or share your information with advertisers or third parties. We do not submit votes on your behalf without you: the agent stages the ballot, and a human casts the vote. We do not run anything that bypasses MLB login or anti-fraud checks.
Where it lives
Data is stored in our database (hosted on Vercel) and protected in transit by HTTPS. We keep it only while the campaign is active.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete your data at any time. Email bryce@nycedays.com and we will remove your record.
Not affiliated with MLB
Wish James Wood is an independent fan project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Major League Baseball or the Washington Nationals. MLB is the official source for All-Star voting and its ballot and rules govern.
